Sunjay Arya

As Investment Officer for AOG Living, Sunjay specializes in the identification, valuation, and acquisition or development of multifamily properties across the United States.  Sunjay has been active in commercial real estate for more than 13 years.

Prior to joining AOG Living, Sunjay worked as a Senior Analyst for National Apartment Advisors (NAA), where he played a critical role in the financial analysis, valuation, and marketing of multifamily sales in excess of $1.4 billion. Previous to his time at NAA, Sunjay was a Transaction Manager for Transwestern’s Multifamily Investment Services Group, where he oversaw the disposition of over $175 million of properties in the Houston area. In addition, he worked as an Acquisition Manager for Concierge Asset Management, where he was responsible for the acquisition of over $125 million of multifamily properties in Texas and the Southeastern United States.

Prior to his career in real estate, Sunjay spent seven years in the energy industry, where he was a Real-Time ERCOT power trader. He also worked in both risk management and coal & fuel oil logistics for Dynegy. Additionally,  he was a part of Enron’s Associate/Analyst Program —  a select rotational management, fast-track program that terminated when the company filed for Bankruptcy in 2001.

Sunjay received his B.A. (Music) and M.B.A. (Accounting) from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ria, his daughter, Mila, attending concerts & sporting events, watching movies and performing as a professional musician. He is a native Houstonian and a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas.
