ALLIED ORION GROUP SELECTED TO MANAGE ROOSEVELT CITY AND BENJAMIN GREEN VILLAGE APARTMENTS IN BIRMINGHAM

Adding Two Additional Properties to its Growing Portfolio in Alabama

HOUSTON, TX – Allied Orion Group was chosen by the Housing Authority of Birmingham District to manage two additional public housing communities in Birmingham: Roosevelt City Apartments and Benjamin Green Village.

Located along the Bessemer and Birmingham southwest border at 5828 Brewer Drive in Birmingham, Roosevelt City offers 88 units spread out among private, single-family homes. The community features floor plans ranging from one to four bedrooms. Roosevelt City residents have the unique experience of being integrated into the neighborhood, as many of the homes are single family, duplexes, and quadplexes.

Benjamin Green Village is situated less than five miles from Roosevelt City Apartments. Named in honor of a former Housing Authority of Birmingham District Commissioner, this small 30-unit community offers three and four-bedroom floor plan options. The Resident Council coordinates a job skills program and computer lab for both communities, and an after-school program located near the Roosevelt City management office is available to residents for both properties.

“We are pleased to be partnering with the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District and adding two more Birmingham communities to our expanding portfolio in the Southeast market,” said Ian Douglas, Chief Operating Officer of Allied Orion Group.  “We are dedicated to providing quality, affordable housing and top-notch customer service to our residents, and to enhancing their living experience in all of our communities.”
